Today in Oestersund, as part of the first stage of the Biathlon World Cup, individual races took place. We previously reported on the results of the women's 15km race, and just recently, the men's 20km race concluded.

The race was won by German athlete Roman Rees, with another German, Justus Strelow, and Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Boe rounding out the top three. Only 25 seconds separated these three biathletes.

Laegreid secured 12th place, Christiansen 13th. Tarjei Boe and Emilien Jacquelin finished in 26th and 27th places, respectively. Frenchman Fillon Maillet only managed 42nd place, nearly 4 minutes behind the leader.
