Musa Lebusa is reportedly on his way to join Stellenbosch FC after leaving Betway Premiership defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns

Musa Lebusa has been reportedly signed by Stellenbosch FC having left Betway Premiership defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

Lebusa is rumoured to be on his way to Cape Town to join Gavin Hunt’s side having left the champions today.

It will be not a surprise if the player joins Stellies as Hunt is known to be one coach with a knack of using experienced players in his sides.

Wherever he is coaching, Hunt relies on experienced campaigners in his squad and Lebusa’s link to the Cape side is not a mismatch.

Lebusa is also familiar with the Mother City surroundings having played for the defunct Ajax Cape Town in the past and a move to Stellies will not be a shock for him environment wise.

His experience will also come in handy for Stellies as they are looking to move away from the relegation quagmire with the team paced third from bottom of the PSL table.

They face Sekhukhune United away from home on Tuesday as PSL football returns following the Africa Cup of Nations recess.
