Koopmeiners is getting closer to joining Juventus

Juventus are seriously aiming to return to the top of Italian football. To improve their results in Turin, they intend to make some noise in the transfer market this summer by signing several quality players.

According to information from Tuttosport, Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners is a top priority and will soon join Juventus. The 26-year-old Dutch footballer has already agreed to a five-year contract with the Turin club. His annual salary will be €4.5 million. Koopmeiners' current contract with Atalanta runs until June 2027, and his value, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated at €40 million.

Last season, Koopmeiners played 50 matches for Atalanta, scoring 15 goals and providing 7 assists. He became the Europa League champion with the Italian club and was the top scorer for "La Dea" in the 2023/24 season.
