Kaizer Chiefs to face Richards Bay FC in a Betway Premiership game at a sold out venue without captain Zitha Kwinika who is suspended for the clash

Zitha Kwinika’s yellow card in the Soweto derby means he will not be available for tomorrow’s sold out match against Richards Bay at Umhlathuze Sports Complex.

This will leave Chiefs thin at the back as they already had few defenders out of the team for a reasonable period.

Inacio Miguel is also in doubt for the game in Kwa-Zulu Natal as the Naturena-based side are looking to return to winnings ways following the 3-0 loss to Orlando Pirates on Saturday.

Kwinika, who is also the club’s captain, was the only player booked in that game at a sold out FNB Stadium as Chiefs tittle challenge crumbles.

Amakhosi have now dropped to the fifth spot in the Betway Premiership standings and look less solid like they did in the first round.

Goalkeeper Brandon Peterson is also likely to miss this tie as he continues to recover from his hospital bed following a surgery.

The game starts at 7.30pm.
