Ivorian Ligue 1: Agboville beat OFC Adiake
The winners climb back up to fourth place in the table, whilst the newly promoted side remain without a point since the start of the season.
In a postponed match from the second round of the Ivorian league, Agboville got the better of OFC Adiake (2-1). In front of their home crowd at the CNTF in Bingerville, Agboville quickly took the lead.
Yann Heddy Camus opened the scoring in the 5th minute (1–0). Just before half-time, Paul Bouabré doubled the lead in the 45th minute (2–0). Adiake salvaged some pride late on by scoring a goal.
Thanks to this victory, Agboville climb to fourth place in the table with 7 points. The situation is far more precarious for OFC Adiake. The newly promoted side have now suffered a third defeat in as many league matches and are sinking towards the bottom of the table.
