It appears Inter are increasingly leaning toward the idea that Simone Inzaghi's days as head coach are numbered, and the search for his successor is already underway.
Details: At the Giuseppe Meazza, the club has reportedly singled out at least three names for the head coach position: Como boss Cesc Fabregas, Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi, and former Inter defender Cristian Chivu, who is currently at the helm of Parma.
Reminder: After the crushing 0-5 defeat in the Champions League final, Inzaghi's already uncertain future has become even murkier. It is expected that tomorrow the coach will hold talks with the club's management, with Saudi side Al-Hilal—who had been linked to the Nerazzurri manager prior to the PSG clash—awaiting the outcome.
For the record, since the tournament's inception in 1955, no team has ever lost a Champions League final by a five-goal margin. In fact, no other European final has ever seen such a lopsided scoreline.
