Swedish pole vaulter Armand Duplantis has set a new world record on home soil during another leg of the Diamond League.
The 25-year-old superstar has once again rewritten athletics history, notching the twelfth world record of his remarkable career.
In Stockholm, Duplantis soared over 6.28 meters on his very first attempt, surpassing his own mark set earlier this March on the World Indoor Tour, where he cleared 6.27 meters.
It's worth noting that this new record further cements the Swede's status as the greatest pole vaulter in history. Incidentally, he set his very first world record back in 2020, when he cleared 6.17 meters.
