CAF Champions League: Match officials for FC San Pedro - Rivers United FC announced
The Confederation of African Football has appointed a Gabonese refereeing team.
FC San Pedro of Ivory Coast host Rivers United of Nigeria on Saturday 5 September for the first leg of the first qualifying round of the CAF Champions League. For this fixture, Gabonese referee Cregue Fleury Moukagni will take charge as the centre referee.
He will be assisted by his compatriots Amos Abeigne Ndong and Junior Assoughe, appointed as first and second assistant referees respectively. Pierre Ghislain Atcho, also from Gabon, will act as the fourth official.
Kick-off for this clash between FC San Pedro and Rivers United is scheduled for 4 pm GMT at the Laurent Pokou Stadium. It is a high-stakes fixture for both teams, each aiming to secure their place in the group stage of the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League.
The Ivorians will be keen to get their continental campaign off to the best possible start in front of their home crowd in San Pedro.
