Confederation Cup: CAF announces the officials for the Panthere FC - Rayon Sports match

Mahmoud Nagy has been appointed as the referee for this fixture, scheduled for Friday 4 September in Yaoundé.

The Referees’ Committee of the Confederation of African Football has announced the team of officials tasked with officiating the match between Panthere FC of Cameroon and Rayon Sports of Rwanda as part of the first preliminary round of the 2026–2027 CAF Confederation Cup. CAF has selected a team of Egyptian referees led by Mahmoud Nagy.

Nagy will act as the centre referee, assisted by his compatriots Abouelregal Kamel and Ahmed Hossam Taha, both of whom have been appointed as assistant referees. Mohamed Maarouf will complete the team as the fourth official.

The kick-off for this first preliminary round fixture is scheduled for Friday 4 September at 3 pm GMT, at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé. Panthere FC, representing Cameroon in this continental competition, will host Rwandan side Rayon Sports in the first leg of this qualifying round.
