Ghana coach: Bafana Bafana will embarrass any nation at Afcon which faces them having not done proper analysis on their strength and weaknesses

Kassim Mingle Ocansey has warned Angola, Zimbabwe and Egypt not to underestimate Bafana Bafana.

The Ghana national team coach says South Africa can disgrace any side which faces them under-prepared.

Angola, Zimbabwe and Egypt are in Bafana’s group at the 35th edition of the Africa Caup of Nations taking place in Morocco from this weekend until 18 January.

“I don’t take nothing away from Bafana Bafana, they are a very good team. Tactically, if you don’t strategize well, they will disgrace you. They are not a bad side at all,” Ocansey said after the match at Dobsonville Stadium in a 1-0 loss to Bafana Bafana.

“For us, we had three weeks to prepare, this is a new team. Our players are also still playing the league, [while preparing for this match] they would come in to train with us and go back to their teams to play league games.

The Black Stars coach said he is at ease with how his team contained Hugo Broos’ side in Soweto.

“But I’m satisfied with their performance because it’s a new team. I’d like to congratulate Bafana Bafana of South Africa; I wish them good luck at AFCON.”

Bafana face Angola on Monday in their opening game at Afcon.
