Galatasaray Supporter Travels from Turkey to Back Osimhen at AFCON

A passionate Galatasaray fan has travelled from Europe to the Super Eagles’ camp at AFCON 2025 to show love for Victor Osimhen. Identified as Hussein, the supporter told Soccernet.ng he followed Nigeria’s talisman to the tournament because “Special Players Deserve Special Love.”

Hussein praised Osimhen’s hunger and personality, saying his influence goes beyond goals and helped Galatasaray fans cope after Mauro Icardi’s injury. He added that defenders feel pressure the moment Osimhen steps onto the pitch.

“If you have Osimhen, you’re already 1–0 up… He pushes the team forward… There’s no stopping him,” Hussein said.

His presence drew attention as Galatasaray chants echoed through the Eagles’ camp ahead of Nigeria’s clash with Uganda.
