The legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather has spoken about the possibility of a rematch with Manny Pacquiao. The American could not confirm Pacquiao's words about their second fight in 2024.

“When Manny Pacquiao spoke about that, he shouldn’t have because there’s a time and a place for everything,” Mayweather said on The Pivot Podcast. I’m not going to say he’s right and I’m going to say he’s wrong. I don’t have to say nothing. It’s so crazy when he spoke about it.

“Just by him saying my name they gave me a cheque for $4 million (£3.17M). Who? I mean, you know I don’t like to throw certain individuals under the bus but remember, he got famous because they said he could be the guy that could possibly dethrone the king." Mayweather said on The Pivot Podcast.

It is worth recall that the fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather took place in 2015. It was the most profitable bout in history. Floyd won by unanimous decision, while Manny claimed he had a shoulder injury.
