Former Manchester United star Jesse Lingard, now playing for South Korea's FC Seoul, has announced the voluntary liquidation of his company, JLingz Ltd, according to The Sun.

Lingard's business venture proved to be a complete failure. The fashion brand, launched in the summer of 2018, consistently incurred losses, accumulating debts of £276,883.

Ahead of the 2018 World Cup, Lingard trademarked a logo based on his signature goal celebration to use on clothing, footwear, headwear, and other merchandise.

However, the brand’s launch drew significant criticism. Pundits Gary Neville and Roy Keane publicly condemned Lingard’s involvement in off-field activities, arguing he should focus on his football career instead.

Lingard signed with FC Seoul on February 7, 2024. In his first season in the K-League 1, he made 26 appearances, scoring six goals and providing three assists. His team finished fifth in the league, 11 points behind the champions.
