Manchester United continues its search for a new midfielder, with Brighton's Carlos Baleba remaining one of the top candidates.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the 21-year-old is eager to make the move to Old Trafford and would be delighted to join the Red Devils as early as this summer. Sources estimate the Cameroonian's transfer fee at around £70 million.

Romano also noted that the final decision rests with Manchester United, who are considering several options to strengthen their midfield.

The journalist also shared an update on Manu Koné from Roma. He stated that representatives of the English club have already contacted the French midfielder's agents, but official negotiations between the clubs have not yet started.
