Manchester United have ramped up their efforts to sign 18-year-old Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahima Mbaye. The English club has already held direct talks with the player's representatives, aiming to clarify his demands and gauge his willingness to move to Old Trafford.

Liverpool had also shown interest in the player, but according to FourFourTwo, the Merseyside club cooled on the idea after learning of PSG's financial demands. The transfer fee is estimated at around €40–50 million.

Mbaye is seen as a player who can strengthen the right flank of the attack while also being versatile enough to operate in several positions. United view him as a long-term prospect, and the player himself is reportedly open to continuing his career in the Premier League.

It's worth noting that the Senegal international made his debut for PSG's senior team at the age of 16 years, 6 months, and 23 days, becoming the youngest player in the club's history. He already has 41 appearances for the Parisians. In addition, Mbaye made his mark in a recent friendly against Manchester United, which ended 1-1. Remarkably, at just 18, he is already a two-time Champions League winner.
