Nobel Mendy makes a sensational debut for Hull City in the Premier League

Nobel Mendy could not have dreamt of a better start to his Premier League career. The 22-year-old Senegalese defender scored on Saturday 22 August on his debut for Hull City, against Manchester United on the opening day of the Premier League season.

The centre-back made his mark in the 39th minute, scoring Hull City’s second goal. Nobel Mendy found the back of the net with a header from a free-kick, helping his team double their lead to 2–0. An impressive start for the young Senegalese player, who is making his debut in the English league this season following his move to Hull City.

Nobel Mendy joined the Tigers this summer from Rayo Vallecano. The English club paid 25 million euros to secure the Senegalese defender’s services. By scoring his first goal on his first start, the Senegalese player has confirmed his ability to help his team.
