With the WTA Finals already underway, the ATP Finals are set to follow soon, but questions remained about the final lineup. Novak Djokovic has made the organizers' job a bit easier by announcing his withdrawal.

Details: On social media, the Serbian star revealed that an injury will prevent him from competing next week, meaning he will miss the season-ending tournament.

Quote: "It’s an honor to qualify for the Finals, but due to an injury, I won’t be able to play next week. I apologize to everyone who was planning to watch me compete. Wishing all the players a great tournament. All the best!"

Reminder: Before Djokovic’s injury, there were three open singles spots, with Novak, Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev, and Alex de Minaur vying for them.

Now, Djokovic's absence finalizes the participant list. Alongside Ruud, Rublev, and de Minaur, the tournament will feature Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, and Taylor Fritz. The ATP Finals will take place from November 10 to 17 in Turin.
