Neither side managed to find the net at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne in Liège. The two teams fought a fierce battle throughout the 90 minutes. There were attempts on goal, but both sides showed defensive solidity.
The international friendly therefore ended in a 0-0 draw. For the Democratic Republic of Congo, who are preparing for the World Cup which kicks off on 11 June, it is nonetheless an encouraging result. Following this first warm-up match, Sébastien Desabre’s team will continue their preparations in Liège before flying to America.
