Chelsea owner Todd Boehly visited Saudi Arabia and held discussions regarding potential sponsors for the London club, as reported by The Athletic.

It was revealed that there were several objectives for this trip. One of the primary goals was negotiations with Riyadh Air and other local companies regarding potential sponsorship. This sponsorship is expected to include logo placement on the front of the jersey starting from the next season.

The second reason was a meeting with the country's Minister of Sports, Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, and Michael Emenalo, who serves as the director of football for the country's championship. While neither side confirmed the purpose of the visit nor the actual occurrence of the meeting, reportedly held in Riyadh, it underscores the belief that the club will again seek to generate revenue by selling its players to teams in Saudi Arabia.

Rumors suggest that by June 30, the "Blues" need to earn at least £100 million from player sales to avoid Financial Fair Play (FFP) issues.

It's worth noting that Chelsea is gearing up for another transfer revolution this summer. To avoid this problem, Chelsea bosses are willing to release 15 players during the summer transfer window. Exact names are not mentioned, but some of them are currently playing for other clubs on loan.
