On April 10th, Real Madrid played the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals against Manchester City. The teams engaged in a high-scoring battle, resulting in a thrilling 3:3 draw.

Yesterday's match held special significance for Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti, who achieved a remarkable milestone. "Papa Carlo" became the first coach ever to reach 200 matches as a head coach in the Champions League.

Ancelotti now surpasses experienced figures like Sir Alex Ferguson (190 matches), Arsene Wenger (178) and Pep Guardiola (168 matches) in this regard.

Ancelotti has been in charge of Real Madrid since 2021, marking his second tenure with the club. Towards the end of last year, the Italian signed a new contract with Los Blancos, extending his tenure until June 2026.

Previously, it was reported that Ancelotti had made decisions regarding the team's goalkeeper.
