Real Madrid goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga will leave the club in the summer with a 99.9% probability. At the end of the season, the Spanish goalkeeper will return to Chelsea, who hold the player's rights.

The player's departure from the club has been anticipated for some time, as Kepa has clearly lost the competition for the goalkeeping position to Andriy Lunin. The final straw was a frank conversation between the goalkeeper and Real Madrid's head coach.

According to Realmadridexclusivo, Carlo Ancelotti directly told the goalkeeper that "there is no longer a place for him in the team."

It's worth recalling that Real Madrid loaned Kepa in August when it became known that the number one goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois would miss the entire season due to injury. The Spaniard replaced Courtois in goal, but over time, he was displaced from the lineup by Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.

Interestingly, Real Madrid has already prepared a new contract for Lunin. Negotiations for the new agreement between the club and the goalkeeper are ongoing.
