Real Madrid has already prepared a new contract for Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. Negotiations for the new agreement between the club and the goalkeeper are ongoing.

According to the reputable football insider Fabrizio Romano, the Royal Club is fully confident that they will be able to reach a compromise with the Ukrainian. Real wants Lunin to stay and be part of their project, even if they again have Thibaut Courtois as the number 1 goalkeeper from next season.

The current contract of the Ukrainian goalkeeper with the La Liga leaders is valid until the summer of 2025.

Lunin has successfully replaced the injured Courtois in Real Madrid's goal since the beginning of the season. In Courtois's absence, initially, the main goalkeeper was Chelsea's loanee Kepa Arrizabalaga, but over time, Lunin won the competition against him.

The 25-year-old Ukrainian has played 23 matches in all competitions, conceding 19 goals and keeping 10 clean sheets.
