The Kaizer Chiefs co-coach is a happy man after he and his colleague, Cedric Kaze, managed to see Amakhosi finish third on the PSL standings this season.
This is a finish Chiefs have not had in a long while with some seasons seeing them finish outside the top eight bracket.
Chiefs sealed their place in the third place with a 2-0 win over Sekhukhune United yesterday at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, with Tashreeq Morris and Mfundo Vilakazi scoring.
"A lot of times we said that the minimum we can do this season is to be in the top three. To play in the CAF for one of the biggest teams in South Africa and Africa, I think it's the minimum that we can do,” Ben Youssef said.
“At least now we have already qualified for next season, congratulations to the fans, congratulations to the board and congratulations to the technical staff and the players.
"It's not the work only from us, it's the work from a lot of people behind the scenes. If you see the performance of the keeper, if you see the fitness of the team and the players coming from out of the squad and every time I say to them, you are like a military, you have to be ready for every game.
“Our fitness coach, our analysts, our doctor, I have to say congratulations to everybody. Like I said, it's the minimum we can do for the team to be in the top three."
