Ben Youssef Khalil says his future at Kaizer Chiefs will be determined by the club management and not him
Ben Youssef Khalil has directed questions about his future to the Kaizer Chiefs management and not him.
Khalil took over the reigns with co-coach Cedric Kaze midway through the season after the club decided against continuing working with Nasredine Nabi.
Nabi arrived at Amakhosi with both Khalil and Kaze but the duo remained at Naturena to continue working as coaches.
The duo were to remain in the dugout until the end of the season and now it's that time. When asked if they will continue at Chiefs or they will be let go, Khalil said that question can be answered by the club hierarchy.
“We are here to work,” said Ben Youssef after Chiefs' 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United at New Peter Mokaba Stadium yesterday.
“You can ask the board, not for me.”
Pitso Mosimane has been linked with the possibilities of taking over at Chiefs but both club and Mosimane have denied those rumours.
