Ben Youssef Khalil praises Kaizer Chiefs coaching staff for Tashreeq Morris' goal against Sekhukhune United
Ben Youssef Khalil has praised the Kaizer Chiefs backroom staff to Tashreeq Morrris' goal yesterday in a 2-0 win over Sekhukhune United.
Khalil said the player has been working hard and he has also been pushed by the coaching team at the club.
Against Sekhukhune United, at New Peter Mokaba Stadium, Morris netted Amakhosi's first goal against Babina Noko to seal the club's Caf Confederation Cup spot for next season.
Mfundo Vilakazi scored from the second goal of the evening from the penalty spot to give Chiefs a resounding victory over Sekhukhune.
“Morris is one of our players; he’s working very hard in training session,” the Chiefs co-coach said.
“We was waiting until the right moment and I think this was the right moment to introduce him to the team.
“And we discussed with him the importance of this game. Like I said, people are working behind us to prepare this player.
“I think I have to say thank you and congratulations to the fitness coach, for coach Dillon, Nathi."
Chiefs next face AmaZulu away from home and also face Chippa United at home to wrap up their season.
