Bayern are ready to sell their midfielder

It seems that the mutual discontent between Josua Kimmich and Bayern has reached its climax. Earlier it was reported that the midfielder's departure from the Reckordmeister camp could be delayed due to a change of coach, but that won't be a reason to stay in Munich either.

Bayern are willing to listen to offers for the player, but it would have to be "really big" when Kimmich himself, according to Florian Plettenberg's report, is only willing to leave if there is a coincidence.

There are several reasons why the club are ready to say goodbye to the midfielder: Alex Pavlovic's assured play, the large salary (up to €20 million a year), which the club are not ready to increase, and Bayern's own desire to sign a new centre-back in the summer.

In the context of the second factor, it should be added that the parties have not agreed on a new contract for the player. The current agreement expires in the summer of 2025.

Plettenberg adds that there are only five clubs where we can see the German in the summer: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City. Some of them have already spoken to Kimmich. But a move to Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG is not an option for him right now.
