Bayern Munich is unwilling to raise the salary of the midfielder, Joshua Kimmich, as reported during the Bayern Insider podcast.

According to sources, the footballer has initiated collaboration with an agent. Previously, Kimmich was the only player in the Munich club without representation. His current contract expires in 2025, and currently, the footballer is one of the highest-paid players, receiving €20 million annually.

Now, the parties need to sit down for negotiations and discuss a new deal, but the club believes that Kimmich cannot expect an increase considering his current form. According to journalist Falk, the mere presence of an agent suggests that the player is considering the option of moving abroad.

Recall that on January 2, 2015, it became known that in the summer, Kimmich would become a player for Bayern Munich. On July 1, 2015, Kimmich was bought back by Stuttgart and immediately sold to Bayern, with whom the player signed a 5-year contract.

On September 12, 2015, Joshua made his Bundesliga debut in the fourth-round match, coming on as a substitute for Philipp Lahm in the home game against Augsburg. On September 16, 2015, Kimmich made his debut in the Champions League, replacing Xabi Alonso in the 76th minute against Greek side Olympiacos.

In this season, Joshua has scored one goal and provided six assists in 20 matches.
