Arthur Zwane: Bafana Bafana have all the amunition they need to reach the Africa Cup of Nations final in Morocco
Arthur Zwane sees Bafana Bafana playing in the Africa Cup of Nations final.
The AmaZulu coach believes that Hugo Broos’ Bafana have a credible CV to see them reach the continental tournament in Morocco.
Zwane is using the smooth sailing qualification Bafana had as measure to how they will perform in the competition to take place in North Africa.
“I fancy our chances when you look at how we qualified,” said Zwane.
“We outplayed some of the top countries on the continent. I don’t see any reason we wouldn’t go all the way to the final this time around.
“It’s also in preparation of the World Cup. When you look at the future that is in that squad, there are players who can play the World Cup three times if we qualify in the next coming years.
“So, with AFCON, it will also help export a lot of players to overseas like we used to do as a nation. So, we are so proud.”
Bafana are in the same group with Angola, Zimbabwe and Egypt.
