Nabil Kouki has admitted Kaizer Chiefs are a good side which deserved the win in the Caf Confederation Cup tie yesterday.

Kouki said Chiefs earned a legitimate penalty when midfielder Glody Lilepo was fouled inside the box by Al Masry goalkeeper.

Chiefs won the game 2-1 at Limpopo’s New Peter Mokaba Stadium with Flavio Silva and Aiden McCarthy scoring the goal for Amakhosi.

“Well, I cannot say the referee has full responsibility for the penalty, but Kaizer Chiefs had a good game,” said Kouki after the game.

“A penalty is a big decision to make. I saw a picture of my player with his hands behind his back. However, I can’t say that the referee took the game away from us. I can say Kaizer Chiefs played a good game. Kaizer Chiefs played a good game.”

The win for Chiefs put them on top of Group D with 10 points and they look set to be on their way to the knockout stages of the competition.
