The Three Lions' coaching staff are taking a responsible approach to the preparation process.

Details: According to The Athletic, England's coaching staff led by 52-year-old Thomas Tuchel have taken a creative approach to acclimatizing players for the 2026 World Cup, which will take place in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

Anthony Barry, Tuchel's assistant with the England squad, believes that the climate during the 2026 World Cup matches in North America will be extremely challenging due to the heat. This could make it difficult for players to perform at their peak on the pitch. However, the English team is not sitting idly by—in fact, the coaching staff has already integrated training sessions in elevated temperatures as part of their preparation.

Tuchel's staff also believes that physical fitness, rather than tactical prowess, will be the deciding factor at the upcoming World Cup, and the team is rigorously preparing for high-intensity play, taking North America's weather into account.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be held in Canada, the USA, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026. England has already qualified in first place, finishing ahead of Albania, Serbia, Latvia, and Andorra.
