Football fans are eagerly awaiting the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by Portugal, Spain and Morocco. As the second Arab and African country to host the prestigious tournament after South Africa and Qatar, Morocco’s participation represents a significant achievement.

Scheduled to take place between June 13 and July 21, 2030, this World Cup will return to its traditional summer schedule. The tournament will feature games across six Moroccan cities—Agadir, Casablanca, Fes, Marrakesh, Rabat, and Tangier—complemented by 11 cities in Spain and three in Portugal.

Morocco intends to make significant upgrades, such as constructing the Hassan II Stadium in Casablanca, which will have 115,000 seats and rank among the largest in the world. The number of seats in other stadiums, like as Agadir's Adrar Stadium and Tangier's Ibn Batouta Stadium, will be raised to 70,000 and 75,000, respectively.

Special matches will be played in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay, the birthplaces of the World Cup in 1930, to commemorate the tournament's 100th anniversary. This joint hosting demonstrates the passion for football around the world and demonstrates Morocco's readiness to provide a fantastic experience for all.
