"We have a team with exceptional composure and talent that is frightening," said El-Hadji Diouf speaking about Senegal

El-Hadji Diouf believes in the Senegalese team for their Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco on Sunday 18 January. The former Lions of Teranga striker believes that Pape Thiaw's team is brimming with potential that strikes fear into their opponents.

"Today, the important thing to remember is that we have a team with exceptional composure and talent that strikes fear into our opponents. Look at our bench, it's another national team. So let's stay calm. We are relaxed, confident and composed," said El-Hadji Diouf.

For him, there is no cause for concern despite the size of the opponent, given the Senegalese team's previous achievements. "Senegal loves this kind of match, I've said it before and I'll say it again. I think you remember our match against Brazil in Portugal (4-2), or the one against England (3-1)... These young players are used to playing at the highest level," he recalled.
