The most talked-about topic in the boxing world lately is who will be Oleksandr Usyk's next opponent. And the WBO is set to make an important decision soon.

Details: Today, WBO President Gustavo Olivieri officially announced that the organization has received a petition to hold a fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois for the title of undisputed world champion.

Usyk currently holds the WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBO belts, while Dubois holds the IBF belt.

However, the WBO had previously mandated Usyk to defend his title against Joseph Parker, who is the mandatory challenger.

"There is a petition in the championship committee for consideration of the unification fight Usyk-Dubois in the heavyweight division.

Therefore, we will publicly announce the official decision on this matter, including Parker's mandatory challenger status," said Olivieri.

Reminder: Previously, Usyk's wife showcased Oleksandr Usyk as a caring father
