WAFCON 2026: uncertainty surrounds Colette Ndzana ahead of Cameroon’s semi-final against Morocco

The Indomitable Lionesses may have to do without their left-back when they face the Atlas Lionesses this Wednesday, 12 August, in Rabat.

Colette Ndzana was injured during Cameroon’s 1–0 victory over Nigeria in the quarter-finals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, which is taking place in Morocco. However, a few days after her injury, the news is still not reassuring.

The player does not appear to be fit enough for the clash between Cameroon and Morocco on 12 August. Consequently, doubts remain over whether Colette Ndzana will feature in this crucial match for a place in the final of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The left-back and captain of the Indomitable Lionesses could miss this semi-final against the Atlas Lionesses this evening at 8 pm GMT at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat. However, no official announcement has been made regarding her withdrawal. Despite the uncertainties, she may still be available for the match against Morocco.
