Both semi-finals will be played this Wednesday, 12 August, in Rabat, with what promise to be thrilling fixtures as teams battle for a place in the final.

The first semi-final will see Algeria take on Malawi. Kick-off is at 5 pm GMT at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.

Both teams will be aiming to secure a place in the final after having enjoyed remarkable runs in the tournament. Malawi, competing in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in their history, have caused a surprise by reaching the semi-finals. As for Algeria, they will be contesting a WAFCON semi-final for the first time in their history.

Later in the evening, the host nation, Morocco, will face Cameroon. The match will kick off at 8 pm GMT at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.

The Atlas Lionesses will be able to count on the support of their home crowd as they attempt to reach the final. Their opponents, the Indomitable Lionesses, who knocked out the defending champions, Nigeria, will be looking to secure their place in the final.
