WAFCON 2026: The Indomitable Lionesses put the finishing touches to their preparations ahead of the final
Ahead of their clash with Malawi on Sunday 16 August, the Cameroon women’s team are putting the finishing touches to their preparations in Rabat.
The Indomitable Lionesses are continuing their preparations for the final match of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Having knocked out Morocco in the semi-final a few days ago, the Cameroon women’s team have returned to the pitch to fine-tune their preparations ahead of Sunday’s clash with Malawi on 16 August.
The Cameroonian players trained at the LYDEX 1 complex, located on the outskirts of Rabat. During this session, the players followed their coaching staff’s instructions closely and threw themselves wholeheartedly into the various exercises on offer.
The coaching staff are focusing in particular on the tactical and strategic aspects that could make the difference against Malawi. The Indomitable Lionesses are thus fine-tuning their game plan so they can approach the final with confidence.
