The Indomitable Lionesses have put themselves in an excellent position to win the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The Cameroon team took the lead in this final, which is being played this Sunday at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat. Cameroon quickly took control of the match against Malawi, leading 2–0 after the first 30 minutes.

Marie Gisele Ngah Manga opened the scoring in the 20th minute, giving the Indomitable Lionesses a 1-0 lead. It wasn’t long before Cameroon doubled their lead. In the 30th minute, Naomi Eto scored Cameroon’s second goal to make it 2-0.

After losing three finals, Cameroon are now in an excellent position to finally clinch their first title in WAFCON history. But against a formidable Malawi side, the Indomitable Lionesses must hold on to their lead until the final whistle before they can claim the title.
