WAFCON 2026: Cameroon and Malawi’s official line-ups for the final revealed

The Indomitable Lionesses and the Malawians are set to face off in a few moments’ time in Rabat for a historic title.

The final of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will take place this Sunday, 16 August, at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat. It will see Cameroon take on Malawi from 7 pm GMT.

Both teams are chasing their first continental title in the competition. The Indomitable Lionesses have, of course, reached three WAFCON finals, but they have lost them all. For its part, Malawi is making its first-ever appearance in the tournament. The Malawian side has therefore achieved a remarkable feat by reaching the final.

It is therefore a high-stakes final that will be played shortly at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat. But ahead of kick-off at 7 pm GMT, the two managers have revealed their respective starting line-ups.
