Vitaliy Klitschko dissuaded Usyk from going to war

Former world heavyweight champion Vitaliy Klitschko spoke about how he once had dissuaded the current world heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk from going to war.
Usik was planning to take up arms after Russia invaded Ukraine.
"Alexander was in Kyiv when a full-scale war began. The fighting took place not far from the capital. Usyk took part in the defense of the territory. Later, when the enemy was driven back from Kyiv, Kharkiv, we had a long discussion. Should Usyk's boxing career be continued? Maybe should he trade his gloves for a machine gun?
I convinced Alexander that he could be much more effective and useful for our country, using the sports arena to support and strengthen the position of Ukraine. To attract the attention of the international community and get help for our country. After all, Usyk’s fights are broadcast in more than 200 countries. And after each victory, in each of these countries, the anthem of Ukraine is played, and the victorious blue-yellow flag is raised as a sign of triumph!” Klitschko said in a commentary to Ukrainska Pravda.
It is noteworthy to remind you that in his next fight Usyk will meet with Briton Tyson Fury.
