Viral moment! Haaland's corner flag photo spreads across the web (Video)
Erling Haaland became the protagonist of yet another highlight at the 2026 World Cup — this time, not just for his goals.
Details: Online, fans compared a shot of the Norway striker at the corner flag to the iconic image of Thierry Henry in France's national team kit. Supporters quickly noticed the resemblance and joked that Haaland had pulled off his best impression of the legendary French forward.
The moment quickly went viral among fans, especially given Haaland's explosive form at the tournament. The Norwegian has already netted a brace against Senegal and continues to lead his team through the group stage.
This World Cup is shaping up brilliantly for Haaland. He’s found the net in back-to-back matches, helping Norway fight for a playoff spot and regularly becoming the talk of social media.
Reminder: Earlier, Haaland became only the sixth player in history to score multiple goals in each of his first two World Cup matches.
