Norway Reach World Cup Round of 32 After 3-2 Win Over Senegal
Norway booked their place in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Senegal.
Marcus Pedersen opened the scoring before Erling Haaland doubled Norway's advantage early in the second half. Ismaila Sarr pulled one back for Senegal, but Haaland restored the two-goal lead with his second goal of the match.
Sarr scored again in stoppage time to set up a tense finish, but Norway held on to secure all three points and advance to the knockout stage.
The result gives Norway two wins from two matches and keeps them on course for a first-place finish in Group I.
