With only ten seconds left to decide the match, Karl-Anthony Towns took advantage, making a successful play after a pass from Kyle Anderson, pushing his team ahead. In the remaining 5.2 seconds, the Pelicans couldn't respond with a shot, and the match ended in favor of the visitors (121:120).
With their ninth victory, Minnesota holds the second spot in the Western Conference (win percentage – 0.750), while New Orleans sits in ninth place with six wins (0.462).
