Unexpected! Victor Osimhen left out of Nigeria's starting lineup for clash against Egypt

The national teams of Egypt and Nigeria are set to take the field at the stadium in Casablanca to battle it out for the bronze medals at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

With less than an hour to go before kickoff, there's a major surprise in the Super Eagles' starting lineup: Victor Osimhen has not made the first eleven. The Galatasaray forward had started every single match of the tournament so far and netted four goals.

It's also worth noting that Ademola Lookman and Alex Iwobi remain on the bench. It appears all three players haven't fully recovered after the grueling semi-final against Morocco, which was only decided in a dramatic penalty shootout.
