Two Paralympians from Congo went missing after participating in the Games in Paris

Congolese shot putter Mireille Ngannga, athlete Emmanuel Grace Muambako, and their guide Shalon Victor Lusanga went missing shortly after the conclusion of the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Details: According to LeMonde, the French police have launched an investigation, as their whereabouts have been unknown for several days. They were the only participants from Congo at the Games.
A member of the Congolese delegation reported that they were last seen on September 5 at their villa. Ngannga, who has a leg disability, and Muambako, who has a visual impairment, were the flag bearers for Congo at the opening ceremony.
Recall: On September 2, Mireille Ngannga competed in the javelin throw but failed to qualify, registering three no-throws. On September 4, she was seen again in the shot put event, where she also failed to record a valid throw. On the same day, Muambako, alongside his guide Lusanga, competed in the T11 100-meter sprint, finishing fourth with a time of 12.07 and failing to advance to the next round. The Congolese delegation, having missed the closing ceremony, reported the athletes missing.
Their suitcases were also not found at the villa, but they did not have their passports with them, which were held by other members of the Congolese delegation. The police are considering voluntary disappearance or desertion as possibilities, but are also exploring other leads.
