Trabelsi Says Tunisia Know Nigeria’s Weak Spots Ahead of AFCON Clash

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face Tunisia’s Carthage Eagles in their second Group game of AFCON 2025 on Saturday at the Complexe Sportif de Fes. Both teams are level on points, though Nigeria boast more quality on paper. Tunisia come into the clash confident after a 3-1 win over Uganda.

Ahead of the game, coach Sami Trabelsi said his side have analysed Nigeria’s flaws. “Nigeria are strong offensively and defensively… All players will be involved,” he said. Trabelsi added, “There is no national team without weak points, and we have studied Nigeria’s.” He also noted that Hazem is fit and improving in training.

Nigeria, who lost to Tunisia at the 2021 AFCON, must avoid defeat to boost their title hopes. With Tunisian fans expected in numbers, Eric Chelle’s men face a test.
