Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo has publicly shown his support for the Nigerian national team following their dramatic 3–2 victory over Tunisia at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
The Super Eagles, led by head coach Eric Chelle, delivered an impressive performance on Saturday night to secure all three points against a strong Tunisian side. Goals from Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi, and Ademola Lookman sealed the crucial win for Nigeria.
One of the standout moments of the match came after Ndidi found the back of the net. The Super Eagles captain celebrated with the iconic Kanu Atlanta 1996 Olympic goal celebration, instantly bringing back memories of the former captain’s glorious playing days.
