The European campaign for English clubs ended with fairly solid results. While PSG celebrates their first-ever Champions League triumph, let’s take a look at how much English clubs earned on the European stage.
Two English representatives lifted major trophies this season: Tottenham clinched the Europa League title, while Chelsea finished their Conference League run in style. However, compared to the other clubs, UEFA prize money for these teams is relatively modest.
How much did English clubs earn in European competitions in the 2024/25 season?
- Arsenal — €117 million (reached Champions League semi-finals)
- Liverpool — €98.1 million (eliminated in the Champions League round of 16)
- Aston Villa — €83.7 million (Champions League quarter-finals)
- Manchester City — €76.2 million (shock exit in the Champions League round of 32 for the defending champions)
- Tottenham — €45.4 million (Europa League winners)
- Manchester United — €36.4 million (Europa League runners-up)
- Chelsea — €22 million (Conference League champions)
As a reminder, next season, England will be represented by as many as nine clubs in European competitions.
