Ghana’s U-20 women’s team are gearing up for their decisive match against France in Group C this Saturday, 12 September, on the third and final matchday of the group stage of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Poland 2026.

But ahead of kick-off, the Ghanaians are already at the Arena Sosnowiec. The Ghanaian team have arrived in good spirits. They are starting their warm-up before 4 pm GMT.

The Black Princesses are well aware of what is at stake in this match against France. They must avoid any slip-ups if they are to continue their campaign at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.

With one defeat and one victory after the first two matchdays, Ghana sit third in Group C behind France and Ecuador.

But in this group, anything is still possible. France, who sit top of the table, have just four points, whilst Ecuador and Ghana have three points each. South Korea bring up the rear with just one point.
