Yesterday's match turned out to be one of the worst for Barcelona under Flick's management.

Details: Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick commented on the refereeing decisions made during yesterday's Copa del Rey semifinal against Atlético Madrid.

According to Flick, the referee ruined the game with his decisions and showed clear bias against his team by allowing Atlético players to play rough and go unpunished:

“Everyone saw how the referee officiated from the very first minutes!

Not a single foul, not a single yellow card, the referee let them beat us up!

And of course, the referees ENCOURAGE THEM to play this way, letting them get away with everything!

What else can I say!? WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY?!?!” Flick responded angrily.

Yesterday's 4-0 defeat to Atlético was the heaviest loss Barcelona have suffered under Hansi Flick's tenure as head coach.

Nevertheless, many fans and pundits agree that the main referee, José Luis Munuera, made controversial decisions for both sides throughout the match.

The return leg between Barcelona and Atlético Madrid is scheduled for March 3 at Camp Nou.
