Ademola Lookman Scores as Atletico Madrid Beat Barcelona 4–0 in Copa del Rey Semi-Final First Leg

Ademola Lookman found the net as Atletico Madrid cruised to a dominant 4–0 victory over Barcelona in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final clash.

Atletico took an early lead in the 7th minute after Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia turned a back pass into his own net. Antoine Griezmann doubled the advantage seven minutes later with a composed finish from inside the box.

The hosts made it 3–0 in the 33rd minute when Julian Alvarez squared the ball to Lookman, who fired home a powerful low strike — his second goal in three matches. The Nigerian international then provided an assist in first-half stoppage time, setting up Alvarez to complete the rout.

Barcelona now face an uphill battle in the return leg on March 3, while Atletico Madrid take a commanding advantage into the second leg.
